Want to try the most popular murtabak in Singapore? Then you will definitely want to pay the century old stall, Zam Zam, a visit! Conveniently located at North Bridge Road, it’s the perfect place to stop for a (big) bite after checking out the sights in the area.
But first, what exactly is murtabak? Simply put, it is fried dough stuffed with chicken, mutton or beef with onions and egg, served with a bowl of curry. Think roti prata with a punch.
If you’re already a fan of murtabak, it gets better at Zam Zam. Their mutton murtabak is served with an extra layer of fried plain prata at the bottom and an egg with minced mutton on top.
#HHWT Tip: Arrive with a hungry stomach and preferably 2 or more people because you’ll want to try more than just their famous murtabak!
